February 14, 2025 – The 77th Foundation Anniversary and COLOS Festival of Barangay Tinongdan kicks off on Valentine’s Day with a series of traditional rites and the Agri-Industrial Trade Fair ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The three-day celebration began with a solemn eucharistic mass, followed by an indigenous ritual at the barangay hall grounds. In the afternoon, a vibrant display of agricultural products from the six puroks of Tinongdan was presented as the ribbon was officially cut to mark the opening of the Agri-Industrial Trade Fair. The products showcased were evaluated by a panel of judges, which included Provincial Agriculturist Delinia Juan and her staff, Corazon Ateo-an and Aser Berting.
The festivities will continue until February 16, with the highlight being the Barangay Day Cañao. Throughout the celebration, farmers will keep their booths open, proudly displaying their locally grown products.
