March 7, 2025 – The Barangay Local Government of Poblacion, in partnership with various agencies, offered a range of free health services to the public. These services included Chest X-Rays, Tetanus-Diphtheria vaccinations, and a blood-letting activity.
The Mobile Chest X-Ray service was part of a program organized by the Department of Health – Center for Health Development – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOH-CHD-CAR) in observance of World TB Day. According to Ida Jances P. Ciriaco, Nurse II, the program aims to proactively identify and diagnose cases of tuberculosis.
The Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) Immunization, led by the Municipal Health Services Office (MHSO), focused on reducing the risk of contracting these infections, especially for individuals working in professions that make them more vulnerable.
Representatives from the Red Cross Benguet Chapter were also on hand to facilitate the blood-letting activity, which contributed to the event’s success.
These free health services were available to both Poblacion residents and non-residents alike, highlighting the LGU’s commitment to promoting public health and well-being.
