March 10, 2025 | Fianza Memorial Gymnasium, Itogon, Benguet—The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Itogon was honored with a Certificate of Recognition for its unwavering dedication, steadfast commitment, and tireless support during the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Cordillera Administrative Region (BJMPRO-CAR) event.
The award was presented by OIC Municipal Jail Senior Jail Officer IV Milton John S. Maguen and Jail Chief Inspector (JCINSP) Gibson P. Bacayan, with the recognition signed by Atty. Kenneth A. Bid-Ing, Jail Senior Superintendent and Regional Director of the Jail Bureau. It was formally received by Itogon Mayor Bernard S. Waclin during the flag ceremony.
The event was held as part of the Refresher Course titled “A Holistic Approach for the Development of Security, Custodial, and Escort Personnel,” aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of jail officers to better serve their communities.
