Itogon Mayor Bernard S. Waclin joined the Provincial Government of Benguet in celebrating the 37th Cordillera Month on July 9, 2024, at the Benguet Capitol grounds, La Trinidad, Benguet.
With the theme “Multiculturalism Towards Regional Autonomy and Development,” Governor Melchor D. Diclas led Benguet Board Members, Mayors, and Regional Line Agency officers in the ceremonial beating of the gong, symbolizing their strong support for Cordillera regional autonomy.
“The beating of the gong is a sacred ritual to resonate with our forefathers to watch over us,” said Hon. Roberto Canuto during his closing message.
