Philex Mining Corporation delivered a patient transport vehicle(PTV) to LGU Itogon in a ceremonial turnover held on May 9, 2024, at the Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Itogon.
Philex Vice President for Padcal Mine Operations, Engr. Ricardo Dolipas, accompanied by legal officers Atty. Eduardo Aratas and Atty. Lionel Wanawan, alongside Mayor Bernard Waclin, led the ceremonial turnover rites of the brand-new Toyota Hi-Ace.
This donation of the PTV to LGU Itogon is part of Philex’s commitment to Implementing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) no. 3, which advocates for good health and well-being.
In his message, Engr. Dolipas emphasized that this donation signifies the strong relationship between the company and the LGU. He added that it reaffirms their dedication to enhancing the lives of the people of Itogon.
Mayor Bernard Waclin conveyed his appreciation to Philex for granting his request and commended their efforts in promoting the well-being of Itogon residents. He also assured that the PTV would be maintained and utilized properly.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Sanggunian Bayan, including Councilor Alejandro Palangdan, Councilor Clint Galutan, and Councilor Albino Diego, alongside LGU department heads.
