August 24, 2026 — Loacan Barangay Captain Franklin Almoza has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes at Loacan National High School (LNHS) on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, following safety concerns caused by soil erosion and weakened protective structures in and around the school premises.
Earlier today, Captain Almoza also ordered the suspension of classes at LNHS midday to ensure the safety of learners and school personnel.
Observations in and around the school showed that portions of the area have been affected by soil erosion, while some riprap and other protective structures have been eroded or weakened. Certain portions of the school facilities may likewise be exposed to increased risk.
Under the Executive Order, face-to-face classes will resume only after the hazardous conditions have sufficiently subsided and the appropriate authorities have determined that the school premises and access routes are reasonably safe for learners and school personnel.
