August 27, 2026 — The DUALTECH Training Center, based in Calamba City, Laguna, paid a courtesy visit to OIC Mayor Dante Alain Xavier D. Godio, bringing updates on the progress of Itogon students currently enrolled in its technical training program.
DUALTECH reported that five Itogon trainees are doing well in their training, with three already undergoing in-company training and two continuing their in-school training.
Currently undergoing in-company training are Laurence Jeo Ayyato, assigned to Supreme Steel Corporation, and Yim Zyrel Padsuyan, assigned to Telford Services Phils., Inc. Meanwhile, Ian Jayrecho Ayyato, Kristine Abuan, and Jerus Craig Narciso are continuing their in-school training.
DUALTECH also announced the deployment of two more Itogon trainees, Rhexel Doctolero Bogyoy and Denzel Jay Bucsit, to Benguet Corporation for their in-company training.
OIC Mayor Godio commended the Itogon trainees for their progress and encouraged them to continue working hard and make the most of the opportunity. He also welcomed DUALTECH’s efforts to provide local youth with access to technical training and employment opportunities.
The progress of the trainees comes after the training center’s visit in February 2026 to introduce its programs. see: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19DYBeVQUt/
DUALTECH offers a two-year Electromechanics Technology program that combines classroom learning with hands-on training in partner companies. Trainees first undergo six months of in-school training, followed by 18 months of in-company training where they gain actual workplace experience.
The program also helps reduce the financial burden on families, as students do not need to pay training fees upfront.
Through the program, trainees gain technical skills and actual industry experience while preparing for employment. Many graduates are eventually hired by the companies where they completed their in-company training or through DUALTECH’s network of partner companies.
The training center is encouraging more Itogon youth, particularly out-of-school youth, to consider the program as an opportunity to gain skills, secure employment, and help support their families.
