July 27, 2026 — Mayor Bernard S. Waclin has lifted the suspension of tourism activities, underground small-scale mining, quarrying, and gold panning in Itogon following the exit of Tropical Storm Kiyapo (Noul) and the improvement of weather conditions.
The Municipal Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has also been deactivated, and the municipality’s alert status has been downgraded from Blue Alert to White Alert, while authorities continue to monitor weather conditions and maintain preparedness.
