The local government unit of Itogon, Benguet is strengthening efforts to prevent the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF) to protect the town’s livestock industry.
Itogon Mayor Bernard Waclin issued a memorandum to strictly prohibit the transport of swine and pork products into the municipality following the suspected cases of ASF in Barangay Tuding.
