Itogon LGU joins the LACAT

PIO ITOGON July 1, 2026

July 1, 2026 — The Municipality of Itogon joins the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (LACAT), government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities across the country in observing National Anti-Trafficking Awareness Month 2026.

With this year’s theme, “lisang Nasyon, lisang Aksyon: Tapusin ang Human Trafficking Ngayon!”, we affirm that ending human trafficking requires the collective commitment of every Filipino. Human trafficking violates human rights, destroys lives, and threatens the safety and dignity of our people.

We stand united in strengthening awareness, protecting victim-survivors, holding traffickers accountable, and fostering a culture of vigilance and compassion. Together, let us turn awareness into action and solidarity into lasting change.
