To support the implementation of Itogon’s ordinance on stray animals and the prohibition of animals roaming along public roads, the Veterinary Services Section of the Municipal Agriculture Office is collecting old denim jeans that will be upcycled into dog collars.
The initiative aims to produce 700 dog collars for distribution to pet owners throughout the municipality, promoting responsible pet ownership and helping keep Itogon’s roads safer for both residents and animals.
Residents are encouraged to donate clean, used jeans and drop them off at the Municipal Agriculture Office, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Itogon, until Friday, June 5, 2026.
