June 26, 2026 — The Municipal Government of Itogon joins the nation in observing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) or World Drug Day, renewing its commitment to a community that values life, supports recovery, and works together to keep Itogon safe and drug-free.
This year’s theme, “World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses,” underscores the continuing need for collaborative, adaptive, and people-centered approaches in addressing the evolving drug problem. It also highlights the commitment of the government and partner stakeholders to strengthen preventive education, rehabilitation, reintegration, and community participation toward building a drug-free, healthy, and resilient society.
