
The Local Government Unit of Itogon has extended the deadline for the renewal of business permits from January 20 to January 30, 2026, allowing renewals to be processed without penalties.
Upon the recommendation of Mayor Bernard S. Waclin, the Sanggunian Bayan, led by Vice Mayor Dante Alain Xavier D. Godio, approved Resolution No. 16, Series of 2026, extending the implementation of business tax collection until January 30, 2026.
Under the Itogon 2023 Revised Revenue Code, the dealine for business permit renewal without penalty is regularly set on January 20 of each year.
The resolution states that “the officialdom of Itogon recognizes the need to extend the deadline for the payment of business licenses, Mayor’s Permit, and other related charges up to January 30, 2026, in order to provide taxpayers sufficient time to settle their obligations with the local government without penalties.”
Meanwhile, Business Permit Licensing Officer Amalia Ibarra announced that the physical Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS), located at the Municipal Gymnasium, will continue ue operations until January 29, 2026. She further clarified that the renewal applications without penalties will still be accomodated on January 30 at the Business Center, 2nd Floor, Legislative Building, Municipal Hall, Poblacion, Itogon.
